Meet Amanda

Amanda graduated with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Boston University in 2007. Amanda received her certificate of clinical competence from The American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Additionally, Amanda holds a Massachusetts Educator License. During her years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, she has worked primarily in the school setting, both public and private, as well as early intervention.

Amanda has worked with children ranging in age from 2-22 years with a variety of diagnoses, spending most of her career thus far specializing in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She also has experience working with children with severe and moderate articulation disorders, receptive/expressive language disorders, and social pragmatic delays and disorders. She also has experience in developing and implementing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems. She enjoys incorporating music, books and play during her therapy sessions.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading and baking.
